The tin has the original `solstickan design from 1936. The base has a round interchangable striker pad at the bottom of the metal tube. There are 100 long quality safety matches made in Sweden from Swedish aspen. Dimensions 10 × 5.3 cm.

The refill box, 50 long matches, There is a replacement striker pad. Dimensions 11 × 6.5 × 2 cm.

The small matchbox with the original Solstickan design created by Einar Nerman in 1936. The small matchbox contains approximately 45 regular sized matches. Made in Sweden from Swedish aspen. Dimensions 3.5 × 5.8 × 1.5 cm.

The original illustration was created by the artist Einar Nerman and modelled after his young son. Adorning Sweden’s preferred matchboxes since 1936, with part of the proceeds earmarked for the Solstickan Foundation, sales benefit children and the elderly.

Over the years 10 billion matchboxes have been sold, making it one of Sweden’s most reproduced pieces of art, and resulting in millions of kronor towards projects and research.
